Case Study 14

Dyslexia/dysgraphia are reading/writing disorders. Children with these disorders experience serious learning difficulties at school, leading to low self-esteem and lack of confidence in their academic abilities. Children with dyslexia often experience feelings of anger, frustration, indifference, helplessness, and psychological fatigue when, despite their best efforts, they are unable to meet the expectations of teachers, parents and peers, or to control what happens to them when they read. Problems with spatial awareness, time perception and planning activities also contribute to educational difficulties.
